Wasn't bad at the beginning after the reopening until it subsided more and more!

If you want to eat delicious Bavarian food and drink a freshly tapped beer in the sun and you want friendly and attentive service, then this is the place for you. We've been there a couple of times, we'll be back :-)

Bavarian and yet modern cuisine with real Bavarian flair. Really recommendable

Rudely turned away as apparently no more space. The next moment, 3 people were assigned a place even without a reservation. After another request, again turned away very, very rude. Also, no more comment on the reference to the injustice of the predecessor, never again!

With every sip of this beer you get one step closer to heaven.

Good food and drinks but the service was nothing

Would be delicious. Took forever. That wasn't great. Kind of a shame.

We stopped there at 1 p.m. When we wanted the menu, we were advised not to order anything because there is so much going on outside and inside and the kitchen cannot keep up. Well, then just something to drink, that's your turnover. However, I was then on the toilet 10 minutes later. Inside there were a maximum of 10 guests and outside there was less going on anyway, because thanks to Corona there had to be at least 1.5 meters between the tables. May I ask how you do it when things are back to normal? This is probably saving on the staff, which incidentally was also overwhelmed. After our drinks were empty, we wanted to pay. Gladly with a card. But it didn't work. Paying by card is only possible from € 25. Yes, dear colleague, how are we supposed to make a turnover of € 25 if we have to remain fit to drive and get nothing to eat !? Then we were allowed to pay by card - I quote "as an exception". Well, congratulations. All in all not recommendable and no comparison with the Munich Augustiner inns.

Food and drinks good. Service was better

Very friendly and hard-working service. Eating consistently good as always. But it would be nice if the map were varied more often (the same map for years)! And unfortunately I had to request payment 4x :-(

We went here to eat in June. The staff was very friendly and courteous despite Corona. With the food I have to say there was nothing to complain about, everything came fresh and hot 🔥 to the table. We had Schntzel, a veal roast and the legendary Devil's Toast. Everything tasted great. The price / performance ratio was very good. We will definitely be back. Great service to the host, keep it up. No journey here is too far.

A nice restaurant in the center of Burghausen. The portions of the food are perfect. A star deduction, as the fries and the soup were a bit salty and the baguette a bit sticky. The rest, however, were delicious.

I ate the first white sausage of my life there. Inn, service and the food itself were excellent. Even better was the introduction to the "white sausage technique"

Good Bavarian cuisine in good portions. Staff on the whole friendly. Points are deducted for the broken glass next to our table and that we had to fetch the water for our dogs ourselves.

Always the same experience that the operation is very slow. Despite the waiting time, the food was very tasty and you can only recommend it.

Traditional Bavarian inn in the best good old style! Quaint atmosphere, good beer and very "tasty" food. Despite the many guests, the service was quick and very friendly. The food came quite quickly and we really enjoyed it. I can recommend the Augustiner with a clear conscience. thumbs up

Really awesome restaurant! Great service, great food and just an incredible experience! In my many trips to Germany, I believe this is the most authentic German experience I’ve had. I had the Bavarian goulash with the fried egg, and it was fabulous. I think you will love this restaurant and Burghausen too!

Good local food with a nice Biergarten or cozy indoor seating. One of the best Schnitzels in town and a good lemon chicken.

Typical Bavarian restaurant. We speak a little English and the menus are in English (after asking). Good Weissbeer and beergulash

Excelent! Delicious and various bavarian specialties served in a big portiion for one person. The location is wonderful in the middle of city but a kind of difficult to park a car. If you can try a dessert.

Serving delicious, traditional food. Great location in the old town. It has a warm and cozy atmosphere in the winter ....and has sunny, street-side seating available in Spring and Summer.
